Jeremy Miciak, Ph.D. is an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Psychology and at the Texas Institute for Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistics (TIMES) at the University of Houston.

 

He holds a Ph.D. in special education from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Miciak has served as a Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on multiple large-scale efficacy trials for reading interventions in elementary, middle, and secondary settings.

 

Dr. Miciak is the PI of a National Center for Special Education Research Early Career Award investigating cognitive and linguistic mediators of intervention response for late-elementary ELs and the Director of the Assessment and Recruitment Core of the Texas Center for Learning Disabilities.
